Cherie Johnson is a dynamic HR professional with extensive experience in Human Resources and Project Management. After graduating from Dillard University, she went on to obtain her Masters degree from the University of New Orleans as well as the Project Management Professional (PMP) and Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certifications. She brings a robust understanding of organizational growth, talent strategy, and HR project management.
Cherie’s career spans roles at leading organizations, including Amazon, Ochsner Health, Amedisys, and Texas Instruments where she successfully led diverse talent acquisition strategies, managed cross-functional projects, and delivered impactful HR initiatives.
An active leader in her community, Cherie serves as the First Vice President for the River Parishes Alumnae Chapter and Chair of the Southwest Region Video and Graphic Design Committee of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She is also a member of the NOLA SHRM Chapter and co-leads the Couples Ministry at Triumphant Church with her husband of 7 years, Mark. In 2019, she was selected as one of Dillard University’s 40 Under 40 Alumni.
In her free time, Cherie enjoys going to concerts, cheering on the Saints, going on Disney trips, and spending time with family.
