Mediation
Don’t let small disputes turn into costly problems.
Small disputes and conflicts between employees or between and employee leadership can snowball into toxic and costly problems if not dealt with appropriately. When employee productivity, morale, culture, and potential litigation are on the line, it’s best to take a proactive and collaborative approach as soon as possible. HR NOLA can manage these conversations so that they are as civil and productive as they can be.
What Is Workplace Mediation?
The goal of workplace mediation is to find a solution that works for both parties in a dispute. It takes the context of past experiences and problems and focuses on finding a future that works for both parties. Workplace mediation is a tool that can be used when an active dispute is occurring. It can also be used to rebuild a relationship between the parties after a disagreement or disciplinary action.
What Happens Without Mediation?
Mediation is a more cost-effective way to resolve disputes in your workforce. Without mediation, conflicts can drive employees to resolve formal employment complaints with state and federal agencies or cause problems with retention and turnover. These conflicts can result in legal actions, bad press and decreased morale and performance.
HR NOLA Mediation Sessions
Workplace Mediation Services provide much-needed space facilitation to discuss issues in a constructive way and explores solutions that are amicable to all parties involved.
With credentials from the National Association of Certified Mediators, our HR Consultants have the qualifications to support engaging and productive mediation sessions that will improve communication and arrive at a resolution that all parties can agree to.
Successful workplace mediation sessions reduce employee stress, turnover and costly recruiting efforts, and ultimately help your company to avoid lawsuits. Mediation can be used to mitigate personality clashes, relationship breakdowns, and miscommunications in a neutral and non-judgmental setting. Medication can be used in any stage of a disagreement, but it is best to start as soon as possible.
The mediation process works for a range of disputes, including but not limited to:
Conflicts and disagreements between employees and within teams.
Conflicts between managers and employees or between senior managers.
Allegations of bullying, harassment, or discrimination.
Boardroom and executive level disputes.
